Software Support
Once a system has been installed and your staff trained, the next most important aspect of any business system is ongoing support. Chatsworth Computers’ Support Centre offers direct systems support and management services to all our Customers via standard dial-up modem or ISDN links. Reported problems can be identified in minutes, without our specialists leaving their desks, and the appropriate corrective actions can be taken immediately.
A comprehensive Call Logging system is used to record the history of Customer support and to enable us to respond immediately to all requests for assistance.
Hardware Support
Chatsworth Computers also provides a rapid on-site hardware maintenance service ensuring a prompt 4 / 8 hour response to our Customers by our trained Field Engineers. They attend sites with a view to resolving the problem there and then. Where necessary, loan equipment can be provided should the faulty equipment require workshop attention.
Training/Implementation
A successful system, that meets the needs of the User, requires not only good software, but also staff who is proficient in its operation.
Chatsworth Computers, therefore provide a comprehensive range of training courses for all modules within the software suite. One-day training courses on each module are held at Chatsworth House, in our fully equipped training facility. Each attendee is given a certificate on successful completion of a course.
When a Customer signs on the bottom line, a Project Manager is assigned, and depending on requirements and schedules, you may meet some or all of the Implementation and Training Department staff. We all have a sound knowledge of Merlin and can all deliver training courses. The team draws upon its extensive business processes and business model experience from a variety of backgrounds to assist our Customers.

Merlin is a comprehensive system, which involves every aspect of the business. It is therefore vital to ensure that the system provides a total solution to benefit all departments.The groundwork for a successful installation is laid before the system arrives, and then in the initial settling down process. It is essential that commercial experience, coupled with system know-how, is applied at this stage to ensure that the business derives the maximum benefit from its investment.
Chatsworth Computers have a team of installation specialists whose task is to advise Users how to obtain the best out of their Merlin system, particularly in the early stages. Each has a considerable depth of commercial experience in different, but overlapping areas, which benefits both new Users and those updating their existing systems.
